My husband has been craving risotto for some time, but it seems to be pretty expensive in restaurants. So, we decided to make our own, which is something we haven’t tried before.
We stepped out to get a few ingredients, but couldn’t find saffron spicing for a reasonable price. We decided to substitute saffron with turmeric, which turned out to be an awesome idea.
Behold our first homemade – mushroom, carrot, onion, chicken bullion, white wine, and turmeric – risotto. It was delicious!
